Will I receive a real shipping address or just a PO Box?
You will receive a real shipping address that can receive packages from UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS as well as magazines and mail.

When can you start accepting mail or packages for me?
We can accept mail or packages as soon as you create an account, however we cannot forward them to you without a signed Form 1583 and two forms of ID.
How can I pay for my signup fee?
We accept PayPal, American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
Can more than one person share a mailbox?
Yes. You may add up to 4 additional names onto your mailbox. Make sure to add the additional names in box 12 of Form 1583. Each person added will require their own ID.
Can corporations sign up for our mail forwarding service?
Yes. Business entities and corporations are eligible for an account. The regular Form 1583 must be filled out by a representative of the company.
How will I know if mail or packages have arrived at my U.S. address?
You will receive alerts via email whenever something has been received.

Which ID's can I provide for Form 1583?
If you have a current passport, all we need is a copy of your passport and a signed Form 1583. If you don't have a current passport then we will need two forms of ID and
Form 1583 notarized by a notary public, justice of the peace, bank officer or lawyer.
Acceptable ID's include: valid driver's license or state non-driver's identification card; armed forces, government, university or recognized corporate identification card; passport or alien registration card or certificate of naturalization; current lease, mortgage or Deed of Trust; voter or vehicle registration card; or a home or vehicle insurance policy.
Unacceptable ID's include: Social Security cards, credit cards, and birth certificates.

How do I send the Form 1583 and ID to you?

For a family, how many Form 1583's need to be filled out?
Spouses may complete and sign one Form 1583. Two items of valid identification apply to each spouse. A guardian must list the names and ages of minors receiving mail at
their delivery address in box 12 of the USPS form.
I don't have a company, what should I write on the Form 1583?
Leave the company information on Form 1583 blank. Your account will be opened in your personal name.
Shipping
Dimensional weight, also known as DIM weight or volumetric weight is calculated as length x width x height of your package, divided by 139 if measured in inches and
5,000 for centimeters. International carriers utilize the greater of the actual weight or dimensional weight to calculate shipping charges.
Compare the package's actual weight to the dimensional weight. The greater of the two is the billable weight and will be used by the carrier to calculate the shipping
rate.
Why was I charged for a heavier weight if my package was lighter?
Shipping companies calculate packages using the greater of the actual weight or dimensional weight. Dimensional weight, also known as DIM weight or volumetric weight is
calculated as length x width x height of your package, divided by 139 if measured in inches and 5,000 for centimeters. International freight carriers utilize the greater
of the actual weight or dimensional weight to calculate shipping charges.
We are certified by DHL, UPS, FedEx and USPS. You may choose any carrier as long as they offer service to your country.
Can I choose to have packages shipped to me via USPS?
Yes. Unlike many other mail forwarding services, we can forward your packages via USPS.
That will depend on the service level you choose. Shipments can take from 24 hours to not more than 5 days. Typically, documents arrive faster than shipments that
include merchandise.
Do your shipping rates include customs, tariffs and taxes?
Our rates include all door-to-door shipping costs. However, any costs related to customs, taxes or import fees are not included and may vary from country to country
and over time. Your local customs office can give you detailed information about this.
Are there any items that I cannot ship?
Most items that you purchase to ship to your country will not have any import restrictions.
However, to help you avoid any problems, please familiarize yourself with our Do Not Ship List.
Can you ship perfume or other alcohol based items?
Due to air cargo regulations, we cannot ship hazardous materials that could contribute to an on-board fire or other hazard. Examples of items that cannot be shipped are perfume, alcohol, hair spray, spray paint, and any other flammable or pressurized items.
Does a shipment valued at $2,500 or more trigger additional export information requirements?
It all depends on the contents of the shipment. Any single item valued at or over $2,500 will require filing an EEI (AES Electronic Export Information). Multiple items together valued at or over $2,500 that have the same harmonized tariff code, come from the same vendor, leave the U.S. on the same day to the same recipient via the same carrier, also require that an EEI be filed with the U.S. Bureau of Census, which collects export data for the U.S. government. To file an EEI, the USAMail1 mailbox owner must grant Power of Attorney to USAMail1 as its filing agent and provide all necessary information, including, but not limited to, the name and Employer Identity Number (EIN) of the seller (the USPPI), the product Export Control Classification Number (ECCN), Schedule B or harmonized U.S. tariff code, value, and origin of goods. There is a $50 document preparation fee for USAMail1 to file an EEI on Customer's behalf.
Forwarding
How long can I hold mail or packages in my mailbox?
Every item qualifies for free 45 day storage upon arrival. After that time there is a minimal storage fee if you are not ready to have your items shipped to you.
How often will you send me the contents of my mailbox?
You decide on the frequency that your packages or mail are sent. Options include; on request, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly. You can change your settings at any time.
Can I send my mail or packages to different addresses?
Yes. We can forward your mail or packages to different addresses, including hotels. When choosing to ship your item, just select the shipping address from your online address book, or enter a new address.
Who is the sender of the forwarded packages?
The sender will be our company.
What happens to the invoice when my package is unpacked or consolidated?
You have the option of leaving it in the box or discarding it for a small fee.
Yes. We check all packages before we sign for them. Any damage is noted with the carrier and you will be alerted via email.
